ADVENTURE – JUNGLE SAFARI


Jungle Safari at Rajaji National Park


The famous Rajaji National Park - a habitat for a number of animals, is only is only 16 km (20-25 minute drive) from the hotel. The park is spread over 820 km and is a delight for wild-life lovers One can locate Asian Elephants, Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Jungle Cats etc.at the vicinity of the National Park..

Around 23 species of animals and 315 species of birds can be seen in the national Park.

  • The entry timings are within sunrise to sunset, two times a day.

  • 0Morning 6 am to 9 am
  • Evening 3 pm to 6 pm

  • The Rajai National Park remains open from 15th November to 15th June. It is closed during rainy season.



GANGA AARTI


  • The Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, also called as the Maha Aarti, is an evening prayer performed on the banks of the River Ganga.

  • As the river Ganga is believed to have powers to remove the pains and sufferings of people, thousands of devotees come to Rishikesh to experience the spiritual Ganga Aarti.

  • The lightning of the lamps along with the recitation of sacred chants provide truly an unforgettable spiritual experience!!

  • The aarti is accompanied with chanting of bhajans, beating drums and bells. People lit oil diyas,put them on flower-filled leaf boats and release in the holy waters of the river. These illuminated lamps in the evening provide a beautiful view.

  • Triveni Ghat is only a five minute walking distance from the hotel.

Bungy jumping


The fixed platform extends to the middle of the valley, the bungee jumping is done from the height of 83 meters which is roughly 273 feet’s and equivalent to jumping from a building approx. 22 stories high. Jump masters from New Zealand brief you about the activity and tie a rubber cord to your ankle and assist you as you take the leap of faith from the fixed platform to feel the adrenaline rush. After the jump, the jumpers arelowered to the ground slowly on to a bed.

Giant Swing


Giant Swing is carried out from the same platform of the Bungee Jump. But instead of attaching a cord to your ankles, a seat harness is provided and two ropes are attached to it. So instead of a free fall after the jump, the ropes attached to the harness start swingingyou like a pendulum hence acting like one Giant Swing tied from the height of 83 Meters.The activity can also be done by two people at the same time.

Flying Fox


It is a fixed hard wire from one end of the valley to the other. This wire is more than a kilometer long and there is a large apparatus attached to it. You are harnessed to this apparatus which is released to gravity running on the wire from the height of 120 meters to achieve the speed of up to 160 kmh. Imagine yourself piercing through the air at such high speed. This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting activities offered by us. The apparatus you are harnessed to is then slowly brought back to the starting point. Flying Fox in Rishikesh is usually done by three persons at a time. However if you desire you can pay extra to do it alone.

Lakshman Jhula is an iron suspension bridge across the river Ganges, located 5 kilometers(3.1 mi) north-east from the town Rishikesh in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The bridge connects the two villages; Tapovan in Tehri Garhwal district to Jonk in Pauri Garhwal districtcrossing the river from west to east. However it is near to the Rishikesh city thus creating ambiguity in its location, the bridge is one of the iconic landmarks of Rishikesh. A similar bridge 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) downstream from Lakshman Jhula is Ram Jhula.
It is said that God Lakshmana crossed Ganges on jute ropes between the place where this bridgeis built.Lakshman Jhula was completed in 1929.
